Thank you Sylvie Ferré

Translated with deepL:

The elegant performance of german Marita Bullmann remains a great discovery. Through her work, this discreet and delicate artist highlights banal everyday situations. So that the gaze discovers a new space, rich in interpretations. The objects used serve as tools diverted from their primary function. With great delicacy and poetry, she transforms our way of seeing things. The tights filled with water, lengthen with the weight of the liquid, becoming a beautiful installation.
When she punctures one of them with the tip of a needle, the liquid flows over the bottom of a bowl and lets a light music play. She plays with a meter folded up, creating an unexpected rhythm, then unfolds it, holding it with one hand, the other end resting on buckets stacked lower than her. Using a teapot, she gently slides the liquid along the metre until it falls onto the iron containers, which also hum. No wonder she was a pupil of Boris Nieslony in Essen. Her images, like her actions, delicately reflect the beauty of the present and its simplicity.
